(Script and Story by Prince_Borgon)
Some think that life lasts too short to be fully lived.
Others, that immortality might be boring at some point.
As Captain of the guard, Ferdimondo Ramolaccio had never been interested in such matters.
He liked to live in the present, and enjoy the moment as if it could last for an eternity.
Ironic how later destiny had decided to reserve just such a fate for him...
He was entrusted with the task of instructing the future prince of Valmeridia to fight,
and to lead him on the path of nobility of soul and faith in steel.
An assignment that immediately filled the chest of the hare with pride, and which he accepted with honor.
But training the young dragon also meant mentoring him and instructing him in magnanimity and leniency.
Because, as an ancient oath says, "a true warrior is sworn to valor, his heart knows only virtue,
his blade defends the helpless and his might upholds the weak".
Many years have passed since Prince Borgon began the journey that led him to become ruler of Valmeridia.
Yet, in difficult moments, when his mind falters, the young dragon knows he can count on the wisdom
and experience of the one who once was Captain of the guard of castle della Verbena, and who today,
for a joke of fate, "haunts" those ancient walls with the name of Sir Cordiale...
