kolbold keeps getting tagged as female, admin say otherwise and in all things they look like cuntboys.
Most of the offenders are listingbthe reason being offsite information or "because the description said so". Its really fucking irritating. And my wrists are hurting from trying to donthis on a kindle so I need somenhelp please.

I thought more then 3 times about it, but I can´t say if you want it tagged as female or not.

My opinion: "It" has a vagina and looks like a reptile, I would say it´s female. Without any backround info. But if the description comes from the artist, then I would guess he wants them to be anatomical correct(reptile like)

Just my opinion

Sorry, but when an admin says what tag is correct, you opinion doesn't really matter any more.

I just tell what I think. First time I even saw that pics and I guess other user could think that, too.

Don´t want to argue with the admins, just explaining why it could be tagged as "female" so often

... no it needs to be tagged as cuntboy, not female. I see a flat chested male with a pussy, I cant tag a lizard with a flat chest and a pussy female because of one simple reason. Lizards have no breasts, is knowledge I "KNOW". Not knowledge I see.

For some reason ever since the update periods cause the words on either side to connect

Most of those do look like obvious females to me.
Kobolds are reptiles, and they're a well-known species from various RPGs. Why would anyone expect them to have breasts?

Tagging those as cuntboy is as illogical as tagging female Charizards as cuntboy.

Not agreeing or disagreeing with anything here, but just like to point out that there is a non-mammal_breasts tag most likely due to the fact a lot of female scalie characters don't have mammal's breasts.

I wonder why people would think female kobolds have breasts...

In a world where anything is possible (i.e. furry art) we have to have some simple, logical standards to follow for tagging.
So, our standard is:
vagina + breasts = female
vagina + generally feminine character = female
vagina + breast-less + no distinctly female qualities = cuntboy

That only works for mammals.
Avians and reptiles have always had different standards for tagging genders, at least based on past admin decisions.

They still have to look feminine to be tagged as female, regardless of species.

That doesn't automatically mean that all non-feminine ones should be tagged as cuntboy. We have the ambiguous_gender tag for a reason.

And if the species never had breasts to begin with, it doesn't make much sense to pay too much attention to the breasts (or lack of) when tagging gender. Otherwise there'd be, for instance, very few Pokemon that could actually be tagged as female here.

Ambiguous gender is for when there is a complete lack of gender identifying information.
A vagina is gender identifying information.
Anything with a vagina shouldn't be tagged as ambiguous.

"The species" information is external knowledge, and is therefor not TWYS.
This is the same reason we don't tag Chakat as herms if the penis and vagina aren't visible, because they might as a species all be herms, but that's not how TWYS works.

...no. Ambiguous gender is also for ambiguous cases (mixed signs). Check the wiki definition.

Two of the images in that pool were even tagged as ambiguous_gender by admins.

Then we maybe we shouldn't tag them as kobolds either, since that'd be external knowledge too?

And really now, it's pretty well known that non-mammals usually don't have breasts. I don't see how that's external knowledge.

Hey everyone. Couple of things.

If an admin makes a ruling, you obey the ruling. If you don't like the ruling, you can contact me directly and I will discuss it with the team to see if we all agree/disagree. Do not just say "well, I think they are wrong so I'm going to do what I want anyway". That's a violation of the Code of Conduct and will earn you a red record. Please don't do that, giving those out makes me sad.

Ambiguous gender is for anyone that we cannot decide which/what gender the character is. It's not just for character that have no distinguishing marks, it's also for those who have several. This is why ippiki said it was a safe bet.

External information cannot be used to identify tags in accordance with Tag What You See.

Reptilians and Avians have long been a pain in the ass to tag gender, especially with the lack of the distinct bosom that other species have. If there are feminine qualities about them, I would agree with female. It will just have to be a case by case situation.

All I'm asking for is that ambiguous cases get tagged as ambiguous, instead of defaulting them to cuntboy. I think that tag would be best used for clear-cut cases.

Judging from how the comments are rated, majority of the users don't seem agree that those should be tagged as cuntboy. And that likely goes doubly for users who would search for kobold.

Unless those comments have thousands of votes, it's not the majority of users.

that's was my thinking as well. I have just been terrified of changing stuff like that because I've observed all the drama that goes along with it lol

Don't be.
Just do what I do, after deciding that a change is deserved follow these steps:

Step 1: Check comments for argument about it already, particularly looking for admin comments on it.
Step 2: Check tag history and see if an admin changed it to it's current tag.
Step 3: Change the tag.
Step 4: If someone changes it back, report it to an admin, and request a ruling about which is correct to prevent a tag war.

Problem is then solved, it either was a good tag change, and it will stay.
Or, it was wrong, and an admin will let you know that.
You don't get in trouble for asking as long as you don't keep changing it after an admin says to stop (also don't change it after asking the admin for input until a ruling has been handed down).
