Topic: Tag Alias: mvol -> my_very_own_lith

Aliasing mvol → my_very_own_lith
Link to alias

Reason:

MVOL is a common acronym for the text game My Very Own Lith and would make searches for it and associated artwork easier, without adding it as a separate tag. I do not think the acronym is common enough to warrant concern for overlap.

-1, there isn't so much content related to My Very Own Lith to make such an alias useful.

I didn't realize popularity stopped the aliasing acronyms to their full names

As long as it isn't likely to conflict with anything else, there's nothing wrong with adding shorthand tags (though I prefer to limit them to copyright tags for the most part).

That is what I meant, just that nothing would be wrong linking the two since it just simplifies searches without getting in the way of other stuff

While this would do no harm, it seems quite unnecessary...

To note, Lithier is the writer, not an artist in the drawing sense. One example of where a search for Lithier would fail is finding a piece I've uploaded that Lugidog drew, namely https://e621.net/post/show/690176. In this case, while it is a commission of a character in the game, Lithier would not be the artist, and this will apply to future art commissions for the game as well.

For what it's worth, "my very own lith" comes up as a search suggestion if you google "mvol".

That gives you his(?) works, not fanworks.

I would recommend making a new thread for discussion's sake.

If I ever ragequit here, I'd love to become a proliferate artist called "mammal" who, at some point, goes DNP.
