Well, I just checked them. And despite they're similar, they're not by the same artist.

I've also been seeing a lot of people on tumblr saying that doxy is onta. Maybe not.

I did a google search and found where someone says that Onta, Doxy, and Phaux are the same person because they've talked to him on skype, and someone else says that Onta isn't Doxy because they asked him on his tumblr. One guy says that he'd said lots of mean stuff about the brony fandom and has probably jumped ship to avoid having it brought up against him. So much conspiracy.

The art styles are practically identical.

Other than that there's nothing to go on until one artist or the other makes some kind of statement about their identity. And nearly identical styles are not unheard of.

Yeah it's pretty obvious at this point. He's not doing much to keep the identities separate anymore.

I honestly think I'd recommend keeping the tags separate at this point though. Both tags have quite a few images under them now, and with very different content when compared to each other. In other words, it's not simply a case of an artist just changing their name or having different usernames between their art sites. These are effectively two separate identities now, in my opinion.

I just think that people probably prefer them as they are right now, rather than combining them.

No, and there are quite a few artists who prefer to keep multiple names for various reasons.

And if he's going to all this trouble to keep them separate (like miu did for that time with Sunshine flanks/whateveritwas.....see how far that went) just keep it that way...

From what I've seen (and you can just look under their tags) Onta almost never posts females, but under Doxy its boobs and female naughty bits galore. If anything, he might be separating his gay base and his straight base. I appreciate this.

Ya that much effort to separate them means he likely wants them as different things I would guess

Doxy could possibly implicate Onta, but it seems like his/her wishes would be for them to be their own things :P
