How do I go about getting reference art for a couple characters on Furcadia? I love the artwork on here and would be honored if an artist(s) would consider working with me and my descriptions.

It was discussed about 10 times already, and I've never saw a request made here satisfied

Basically, people don't want to work for free for random people over internet. If you really want someone to draw something, ask specific artist for a commission

I don't think the hostility was necessary, but I suppose some members are tiring of dealing with requests such as these.

mmmgood2004, as has been explained, this is a poor choice of venue for an art request. You may have more luck on an art site such as FurAffinity. If you want work from a well-known or particularly skilled artist, be prepared to pay for it.

I hope you will put this experience behind you in time and continue to visit the site.

Other newcomers, take heed. Unfortunately, you may get a thrashing for making an art request on this site. It pays to lurk and learn from others' mistakes before posting yourself.

If you're looking to find a particular artist, the best way is to use the info on pictures in the style you are looking for to find those artist's home pages/FA pages and contact them through there. If they're a user of the site and you know their username, try sending them a PM, that works as well.

As an aside, no need to be completely needlessly hostile to new users, folks. Remember, you were once new here, too. Random vengeful jerktitude is my job here, not yours. Let's try and give each other the benefit of the doubt if the other person is trying to at least be reasonable and polite about things.
