Do we even need them? Seems a bit pointless considering the comics are pooled. It's also quite unlikely anyone would search such tags..

It makes it easier to pool the images if they're tagged with the name of the comic or whatever.

They are sort of pointless, but those tags are relevant to the image, in a way, and there isn't really a need to go around removing them.

But actually, I sometimes search for comics by name when I know the tag exists. It helps me find updates to comics I was following here when I haven't been around in a while.

Would tagging them as a copyright (copy:a_taste_of_the mistress_of_blades etc.) be useful?

Searching for copytags:>=1 comic should list most of them much more easily as well
