I'm still trying to get used to e621, and i was looking around and was trying to find a page for rules or something, and i couldn't find any, also trying to figure out why i couldn't post anything on pictures becuase of "Hourly post limit" being exceeded. Sorry I'm a newb.just the websites set up is driving me crazy, and the irc doesnt work either, and the forums have me confused on set up as well. I hope this doesnt break any rules but i cant find any real listing of them -_-

1) there are several rules pages. they should probabl be consolidated a little though.
2) new accounts cannot comment on pictures for 1 week's time. This is to prevent someone from raging and instantly registering a new account if they get banned. Give someone a week, and they'll probably calm down. Plus we've had a few issues with spam also. mostly people who have an irrational hatred of an artist and decide the best way to do this is to do annoy people who have nothing to do with the artist in question and spam all over their pictures in the comments or something.

3) the website wet up is a bit complicated but most booru are like this. I promise, if you take the time to get used to it, it'll become second nature. in the mean time, feel free to PM if I can answer any questions for you.

4) IRC works okay to me.... o_O

5) the forums are basic. one page of posts. it's not supposed to be a very verbose foruming community. :) though I think there has been some pondering towards adding more forums, but I don't know.

Oh ok thanks snow wolf, i think they should have a better thing than "hourly post limit" perhpas "new acounts can not post for a week" or something. ive been using e621 for neerly a year, so i know how it works fine, I just never registered.

Wait actually, does the one week thing apply to taging? or just posting?

The one-week rule currently applies to everything but tagging and posting on the forum.

now knowing that, how are you confused by the setup of the site? anyone who's been here a week can figure that out, and even most lurkers know the rules. you even stated that you know how it works after saying you didn't understand it. call me crazy, but methinks this thread is a troll thread. >.>

I really didnt meen to, I honestly was more confused with the posting and forums set up, then the actual e621 set up, but either way, and also i was confused about the rules.

The hourly post is generic header text. One my future updates should fix it.
