I just got a automated email saying my takedown, the one i told char about 2 months ago to decline, has been approved and all the images have been removed.

I must have never completed your request, I apologize. And Tsukaza, the person currently handling takedown requests, could not have possibly known that you wanted the request declined.

Please just reply to the e-mail you received and ask to have the images restored.

And yeah, chill out. This is a situation that can be fixed very easily.

Even if you do ask the artist, and they say yes upload...They can go back on their word and request take down's anyway to screw over your upload count. So that really has nothing to to with asking before uploading.

Well, you could always try to show proof that you had the permission of the artist (screenshot of the email/note) but that he decided to go back on said permission.
The basecount of the upload limit is freely editable so something like this could be compensated, if you bring a reason/proof for us to feel inclined to do so.

Oh, but don't post any screenshots of mail or notes in the public, do something like this through the note system or per mail.

A) Artist takedowns due to being lazy and not asking.
B) You being retarded and posting banned items

And there are many reasons (well, maybe not so many) for us to decide that your uploads are welcome here and that your negative or minuscule upload limit is a result of events outside of your own doing. We just need to see/ know about them, and that can only happen if people talk to us.
However, there are also some people with a negative limit who have that limit for very good reason, they will have better chances to see the heat of the universe before that limit gets positive again.

A) You can ask, they can say yes, yet still do a take down anyway. So really it isnt even the problem of asking as people do ask and it still happens.

B) I dont post banned items and neither do a lot of users, but when a artist changes their mind anything can become a banned item ._.

The dude, Tsukaza, who handles take down is trained and has done at least one takedown already. So this should roll on and catch up in the coming week.
