Topic: Alias gender_hairy

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

I feel like body types do deserve gendered tags. People who want to look at hairy bodies also want to look at hairy bodies of the gender they're attracted to, and just hairy + a gender tag doesn't guarantee that.

hairy_femboy is a bit questionable, but it's only been used once.

The bulk update request #12978 is pending approval.

create implication hairy_male (92) -> hairy (14021)
create implication hairy_male (92) -> male (2997200)
create alias hairy_man (24) -> hairy_male (92)
create implication hairy_female (21) -> hairy (14021)
create implication hairy_female (21) -> female (2998174)

Reason: Alternative BUR that would keep gendered tag (may or may not deal with hairy_femboy later)

Really not sure why people are so opposed to keeping these. Shall we also delete muscular_<gender> and overweight_<gender>?

Not allowing any and every gendered tag doesn't lead to needing getting rid of all of them, I'm not sure why you feel you need to keep acting like it does

Despite being very undertagged, hairy_female seems useful. It's a common fetish with a different audience from hairy males and something I think many people would want to search for, exclude or blacklist. Without it, there would be no way to reliably filter posts with a hairy male and a non-hairy female when looking for hairy females.

Just by looking at the tag wiki, it technically encompasses any female with fur as well... I don't really know how to define it. Most people would consider any female with a coat of fur as 'hairy'.

I thought hairy referred to this type of distinctive body "hair" instead of fur.

Also I feel like many posts under hairy_female are only referring to pubes instead of the entire body.

Because people keep refusing to explain why some should be allowed and some shouldn't. Either enforce a rule consistently or explain why you're carving out exceptions.

We allow combinations that will see good use and/or that a lot of people want which would otherwise be near impossible to search for
muscular_femboy is an example of that - I still don't want it, but it was kept due to large community support (it hasn't actually been given proper implications, but it was moved from muscular_girly)
I could definitely seen an argument for keeping the fem/gyn/herm version of these gendered tags, but I can't remember a time we split gendered tags like this so I'm doubtful it will happen
