The tag implication #70807 snake_penis -> sentient_penis has been rejected.
Reason: Because snake_penis perfectly fits the definition of "A character has a penis with its own personality".

snake_penis is ambiguous and really should be renamed. It's erroneously used a fair bit by people thinking it's for a snake's penis, rather than a penis that is a snake.

In case you missed it as well, the wiki for snake_penis also says that "a snake_penis is almost always a sentient_penis."
"Almost always" doesn't mean 100% "always", there could also be instances where it is just a snake-shaped penis without any signs of it having "its own personality."
In addition, I feel that snake_penis is an ambiguous name as it could mean a snake-shaped penis or the penis of a snake (i.e., hemipenes). It should really be renamed to penis_snake instead.

I think snake_for_penis would be the most descriptive and clearest in meaning.
