Topic: Could we differentiate between "voice acting (spoken dialogue)" and "voice acting (moaning only)"?

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

I realize that this would be one humdinger of an undertaking if anyone agreed, but personally, I think it would be one worth taking. Audio porn is an underappreciated niche and spoken word can be an exponential sexiness multiplier. It can be a real bummer to be looking for that and find something where there's no actual words.

voice_acted dialogue? voice_acted moan?

I didn't think of using the "dialogue" tag to catch things besides written dialog. Limit of my imagination, I guess. :)

audible_speech as a new meta tag, maybe?

I think such a tag would be useful. I don't think an only_moaning tag is appropriate though.

audible_speech could be a decent tag, and the 12k posts with voice_acted wouldn't be too hard for a project to go through.

That said, if dialogue would be allowed that would probably be better. It would require clarifying whether it applies to audible speech, though.

I intended for 'speech' to be a synonym for 'dialog'. There would have to be more than just one word moans.

I was against having audible dialogue be considered as part of dialogue since the wiki says that it's for written dialogue only while voice_acted instances were in a "grey zone".
However, (a majority of) people seem to be keen on including it altogether when it was brought up on a separate discussion.

Well, yeah, we'd have to change the wiki to clear up that gray zone. Either make it definitely count, or definitely not count. I'm in favor of speech counting for dialogue - yes, usually sound doesn't count for most tags, but I really feel it fulfills the purpose in this case.
