Ah, the classic game of "guess how future-proof this is". Will peakychu appear in things unassociated with pokemon_pokopia in the future? Probably not...??? Hesitant +1.

I honestly still haven't watched the trailer yet, but from what I understand, there's other exclusive variants too:

Regardless of how many other times she appears, she's still associated with the game. Don't know why the other implications got rejected.

Simply being associated with the game doesn't necessarily mean something from the game is depicted whenever she is. Like how teba_(tloz) used to imply breath_of_the_wild because that's the game he appeared in and was associated with it, until the sequel tears_of_the_kingdom where he showed up again. Then images made of teba_(tloz) in tears_of_the_kingdom were being mistagged breath_of_the_wild, that required time for a deimplication to be made. For an on-going series where characters are known to show up more after being introduced, it's may be best to avoid implicating the specific entry/game they first appeared in.
