Topic: [REJECTED] Tag implication: navel_line -> navel

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

I think an alias would be better. I don't think we need unique tags for how the navel is drawn.

I might just invalidate it instead, or at least do a thorough cleanup before doing anything else. How it's being used is all over the map. I assumed it was just for stuff like this, where the navel is kind of suggested by having a line terminate or come to a point at that level:

Which arguably should not be tagged "navel" but is its own thing.

Then there's stuff like this, which also should not be tagged "navel" but which we already have another more correct tag for, "navel_tuft":

But then you've got stuff like

which is literally just navels? Or this...

which is literally just a...ventral ridge? Or whatever the anatomy term is for it? And it terminates well above navel level? Or this...

...where there's both a ventral ridge and a clearly defined navel and they don't even connect? In short: potentially useful tag, being ruined through a nearly 100% rate of misuse.

I’ve recently made an alias request: topic #60672, i hope it’s better
