Topic: Gradual Cub Attracion

I don't know where else to post this. Sometime during 2025, I was slowly interested in Cub Porn. I am attracted to Cream the Rabbit and Anais Watterson, to say a few. I was never interested in that before, but it seemed to linger forth recently. I know Cub and Furry porn isn't real, but Cub drawings are based on young boys and girls. I don't see actual human children in any sexual light, I don't care about the kids I pass in real life, but I feel strongly about Cub porn. What do I do? I don't want the bridge between Cub and real life CP to blur into something I'll regret doing, seeing as I never liked Cub Porn before.

I'm saying this as someone who's been into cub for about 15 years at this point. Introspection is great! Examining the ethics of your attractions is also great. I think honestly examining what you like and really considering the impact of it on the world at large is valuable.
That being said, I think that there is a line between introspection and obsessive worry that, if crossed, is more harmful than not. Personally, I like to reexamine my preferences occasionally, but if I find myself rabbitholing over it, I table those thoughts for later.

You may want to look into what's called Personality Disorders. "Order" in this context meaning the lib worldview. Schizoid Personality Disorder (SzPD/ScPD) tends to have increased personal fantasy, so that could easily explain it. If you end up getting worried about it, you can have a mental health check (it's a normal thing people do), and they can test for stuff like this. It shouldn't define who you are, but it should help you to understand yourself as compared to society.

Knowing the differences between what is fictional and could happen in fiction vs. what is real and could happen in real-life (i.e., the law and consequences) is key.

It's okay to like viewing artworks regardless of content type since they are all fictional and do not harm anything in real-life.

Yeah, I was mostly worried that this might get me in some trouble, but seeing as this site is still up and easily accessible, it's not the worst. I also worry that if I do get help, how they'll see it. I know therapists cannot reveal info, but still. Thanks for the info.

Let's get something straight first: Cub porn =/= CP or CSAM.
Anybody who says that they are the same doesn't know the law and are actually undermining efforts to combat real crimes that hurt real people.

If you still need to explain to a therapist or mental health professional about your troubles, don't use terms like CP or "cub porn" since that might not get the right message across.
Just explain you are into young cartoon animal characters, particularly which character from which show, and they should understand it.

Legal trouble from furry cub porn, probably not, but nowadays we are blessed with tools like Grok AI to ask all kinds of stuff. It will never beat a real professional but still is very useful.

Search for Grok on incognito mode of whatever browser you use and ask it "can I get in legal trouble for asking you if something is illegal in [insert country]" to which it will probably reply with "asking about somethings legality is totally okay and encouraged, as wanting legal information about whatever subject is not a crime". Then ask "is furry cub porn legal in [your country]" and it will give you a detailed explanation, from which you can ask as many questions about it or other things as you want.

And as in trouble mental health wise, if you feel you need to talk to a professional therapist you should do it. It will be awkward to you, but those folks are battle hardened from years of listening to all kinds of depravity and can totally help if you consider it so much of a problem. Avoid AI for questions like this at all costs. Really, avoid AI for questions. They are prone to hallucinate, and confidently give answers that are completely (or subtly) wrong. The only thing worth asking AI is stuff you can double-check and verify for yourself, or don't care is wrong, which would defeat the purpose of asking it questions like this.

I agree what AI says should be taken with some caution and be double checked by yourself, but since no one really wants to read the local book of law and to expand on this concrete question ask it "where can I check these laws that make said content legal/illegal in my country?" then it will probably forward you a source or tell you where you should go check it.

Other than that don't be so AIphobic, yes they make mistakes but more often than not the info they give is accurate. But then again, like you say, double check.

Not about being AI-phobic, but ensuring appropriate levels of skepticism for the quality of what they produce, especially for a topic like this which is very reliant on the particular time and place the query is about. AI is trained on a massive amount of publicly accessible data, both accurate and inaccurate, and devises a response from the data that seems sensible regardless of correctness. If we know they're this wrong when we know the real answer, how wrong are they when we don't know the answer?
