Both has 350~ish posts. it could go both ways.

• breeding is an invalid tag and the wiki points to impregnation and breeding request
• On the other hand, there's plenty of breeding_* tags.
• On the other other hand: Do we need breeding_request (993), cum_request (2622), insemination_request (2048), and impregnation_request (4828)

This does seem rather misused. Many instances are just vaginal sex. sometimes with cum_in_vagina. Some are just mentioning they could get pregnant (including at least one male/male image), but without clarity that it's something they find hot vs a concern/problem. A lot don't show "an individual is erotically aroused by the idea of causing or experiencing pregnancy".

I think most valid uses would just be a variation of impregnation_request/breeding_request, and I think these *_kink tags are best invalidated since they're too subjective and misunderstood.

I don't think we need both breeding_request and impregnation_request, but from the wiki descriptions, the other three might be distinct enough. It's not my kink so I don't have knowledge or opinions on those distinctions, though.

Reason: These are also functionally identical. Aliasing lesser-used to more-used.

If you're referring to breeding_* vs. impregnation_*, yes. Unfortunately I can't edit the original alias request. I can reject it and propose a reverse alias if you think that would have more support.
