Topic: Fixing Artist Name

The bulk update request #12346 is pending approval.

create alias preciousrat (80) -> rathmutatio (180)

Reason: Proper artist name. Old name no longer used. Consolidate gallery.

It would be more proper to make it an alias since you are still known under that name under a couple of your galleries and it will prevent people from using the old name again.
In contrast, choosing to mass update only moves the posts to the new name instead while leaving the old name still intact and usable as a separate tag.

Also, on an unrelated note, you can consider verifying yourself as the artist and your account will become associated with the artist tag.

Any way to move them all to the new artistist name and defunct the old artist name? That would be the ideal. Any gallery that uses PreciousRat is no longer in use, anyways.

That's what the alias will do, it will turn any instance of the old tag into the new tag, and if someone tries to look up the old tag they will instead get the new one ^^
