Would this technically be considered explicit according to rules?

Yes, for the reasons stated above. Even if it's just a tiny detail, when in doubt, it's better to over-rate the post than to underrate it. Better safe (so to speak) than sorry.

Mhm, mhm!
Speaking of tagging... What would the border between "Oh, its just a small mistake..." and "You just massacred this post. You're getting warned for tag abuse." be, as told in one's own simplification, for a newbie like me? More relaxed? More strict?

You have to be either negligent (not reading tag wikis, repeatedly uploading with too few tags, etc) or obviously malicious to get records for tagging issues

Like Donovan said, it need to be pretty egregious. When we dish out a tagging record, it's almost always one of 3 things:

  • Insufficiently Tagging Uploads: See our rules
  • Tag Warring: Someone repeatedly tagging a post one way after other users undo that edit (if this happens, report the post & let us handle it)
  • Repeated Mistags: Someone has a very long history of incorrectly tagging something, usually a few specific errors that they keep making

If you make an occasional mistake, especially if it's easy to see why you made it, you're not highly likely to get in trouble for it. As you can see from the most common kinds of tagging records, it takes either an extensive record of mistagging with no end in sight without staff intervention, malicious mistagging, or some combination of the 2.

If you're still worried, here's some preventative measures:

  • If you're unsure of a tag, or you've never read its wiki page before, always review it before making a call on it. If you're still unsure:
    • There's no harm in leaving it for more experienced taggers.
    • If you want to tackle it later, you can make a set for posts you plan to edit & circle back to them at your leisure.
    • Asking for help, be it on the forums or on our Discord server, is a great way to both ensure it's tagged correctly & have evidence you were tagging carefully & in good faith.
  • A good preventative step would be to fill in an Edit Reason. Giving us a glimpse into your mindset could reduce a record to a DM.
  • Review the implications & aliases listed at the bottom of a tag's wiki page, as that can help you spot mistakes in your understanding
    • A good example is that many, many, many users tag images as gay, not realizing it's aliased to male/male, which obviously wouldn't apply to almost all solo posts.
    • If you spot an alias/implication that doesn't make sense & you think is wrong, you can ask about it & either get clarification or surface a potentially bad alias/implication to the community so it can be overturned. E.g. I'll get you someday reverse_gangbang -> gangbang...
