create alias hand_held (167) -> handheld (662)
Reason: Space -> unspaced. The latter has more uses.
I do wonder if this tag's name should be changed to avoid confusion with handheld_console, though.

That's what I thought the tag was going to be, this should be something like character_in_hand or whatever wording we'd normally use
If the name sticks I'd opt to reverse the alias, "handheld" is something that is designed to be held in the hand, which a small character is not

Precisely. hand held currently describes a particular subcategory of holding character.
As a side note, it's appropriate that you're the one doing this BUR. However, if it fails, you'll be(left)holding the bag
Handheld should be mass updated to the right appropriate tag (pending discussion & cleanup like @SNPtheCat said) and subsequently invalidated since the general definition of handheld means something "designed so that it can be held and used easily with one or two hands", or more commonly, a mobile device or cellphone.
