i recently found out about this new booru called bbooru, which according to it is meant to be a combination of smaller, more niche boorus. it seemed that basically everyone except the bot of the site had disappeared around may 2024, with the only admin i could find there disappearing around october of 2024.
i can't find ANYTHING on this place except that it was used for beat banger mods very breifly, so i am asking people here if they know about the site and, if possible, what happened to it

Indeed, bboru was used for a while as the host for beat banger mods (and the game used it to pull the mod list for its internal downloader), it gradually became outdated as they transitioned from it to "mods.beatbanger.com" with their entirely new backend made exclusively for BB.
I don't know if bboru had other purpose aside of serving BB mods, if it did (or does) it's really bad documented and i wouldn't recommend to visit it unless its purpose and owners are known.
Note: It's worth to mention that the current site is going through a curation on with uploadign older mods either from BB discord server or from the old site.
