What will happen to e621 in that regard?

It's up in the air? It's unprecedented times, so anything could happen:
1) nothing happens for most users
2) the site starts ID'ing everyone
3) random Australian feminists suddenly decide gay furry porn is misogynistic, and...
Fingers crossed for the first one, obviously.

I still maintain that #2 will never happen because the site would die overnight

Why would the UK-based Online Safety Act affect your internet access in Hungary?
If Twitter is blocked, it is probably due to other reasons such as your own local laws or your VPN routing through the UK (which should be incredibly obvious why you got blocked).
What will happen to e621 in that regard?
In regard to age verification laws in general (such as those directly affecting e621), see the discussion on topic #57070 & your answer on forum #452325.
In regard to the UK's Online Safety Act, see the discussion on topic #25266 & your answer on forum #461798.
I would suggest going to topic #25266 to continue any relevant discussions regarding The Online Safety Act and to not make duplicate threads for an already-existing discussion.

Or companies just implement age checks across the board rather than be UK-specific. See also Youtube's recent changes.

Users from the EU are currently getting blocked just like the ones from the UK and in opposite to them users from the EU don't have access to the age verification via face/ID. You either have an already old enough account or need to buy Twitter premium to verify your age.
Or use VPN.

As I said, review your local laws. X has already released a statement on their 'age assurance' policies.
People are wrongly attributing it to the UK law when what they should really be looking at is the EU law, i.e., The Digital Services Act (that should be a discussion on another thread).
Also, just as a reminder, the UK is no longer part of the EU, so any UK law should not be affecting the EU and vice versa.
Any site policy shenanigans will depend on who they are catering to, in this case, X complying with both UK and EU regulations.

There is little point in saying that they are not part of the EU when they are executing the same globalist agenda the EU is.
Most of the internet will comply with these fascist rules because they dont want to get caught in some kind of situation where they are fined 10% of their yearly revenue.
This is not 1990 where a country's internal laws have zero effect on the rest of the planet. The internet is shared across the planet so when someone decides to piss in the pool, everyone gets to enjoy the results, which will be banks, ISPs, cloud flare, hosting services, payment processors, and even your dear mother cutting ties with you unless you follow the decrees of the benevolent leaders like Klaus Schwab.
All the politics rant aside: No. Its not gonna be as easy as "check your local laws". I wish it was but there is a global effort on screwing freedom for everyone whether its speech or art.

Take that rant about fascists and global agendas elsewhere if you don't have anything constructive to add. This is not the place for it.
My point was really straight forward if you can't understand it already.
Check your own laws, know what will impact you, and talk to your own politicians.

The mods need to stop leaving us in the dark about the whole hb 2112 stuff, has e6 fallen? Must millions be archived? I hate how the internet is becoming so censored now, I think we should make a new internet or somehow make tor faster whilst maintaining its security if that is possible
Edit: I should mention that if the calculations I made in may about the 90 day grace period are correct then this website has a little over a week before they have to put the age verification system in place

chances are "the mods" also don't know the plan
Good luck making internet access which goes between 3+ middleman computers on networks with varying speeds and stability faster, it even working in the first place is a miracle
And "making a new internet" is definitely not happening, nobody with that amount of money would be interested

Don't derail the thread with completely unrelated questions that have been answered numerous times already.
If you had been paying attention to the numerous threads made on HB2112, you would have already known the answer to your question, see topic #55289, topic #57126, forum #452325.
Almost all of the mods and admin team are volunteers and not actual employees of Bad Dragon (barring a handful), so they are all kept in the dark just like you.
Bad Dragon is well aware of the situation and if there is a plan, then it would be announced eventually.
If you are that fearful that there are no plans for e6's survival, then you should have been preparing ahead 3 months ago. There are already a few people attempting to backup the entire site, such as on topic #58052.

Donovan's right. Neither Mods, Janitors, or Admins know what Bad Dragon has in mind. The only ones who might know anything is NotMeNotYou and our point of contact with Bad Dragon, but they haven't said anything yet. I figure, right now, they're not yet at a point in their plans where they feel it's a good idea to share it publicly. Likely, when they do, you'll know it at the same time we do.

The bill goes into effect 90 days after the legislature session it was signed in ends.
According to Arizona State Legislature website, the Fifty-seventh Legislature, First Regular session (the one HB2112 got signed in) ended on June 27th, meaning the law will go into effect on September 26th. As of August 1st, we still got 56 days.
While transparency from Bad Dragon's side would be appreciated, they still have almost 2 months to finalize their plan, and you still have almost 2 months to download anything you like (and/or upload it to another website, like Furbooru or Rule34)

"fined 10% of their yearly revenue"
And here I thought $150K/song was excessive! Oh, and in case anyone thinks that having no revenue will save them, it's like the AMT (alternative minimum tax) - you pay the highest amount ($18M).
Hmm labyrias2, might be better to use the term 'international'. Global is a dog whistle for conspiracy theories. :( Because while it's obvious that it's an effort across the globe, it's not like you don't have a bunch of like-minded people openly discussing their plans to spread this cancer.
Heh, the 'people with the money' are the entire problem. I smell a grift of some sort. VPN providers are making bank, for example.

Reminds me of the time a group of scientists successfully created a baby mouse using only biological material from two male mice, and it ended up being healthy and growing perfectly fine until randomly dying at two weeks old. And then in came the death threats; not from the zealots (guess they were busy?), but from feminists claiming the scientists were facilitating "technology that would enable female genocide"
Don't get me wrong, I fully support feminism and women's rights. Just like, we all know the difference between the two different types of "feminists," I'm sure.
(also kinda dark that their thought process seems to be that women are useless except for being needed to physically birth children. that's a yikes)

people who think that particular group are feminists have not looked into it past the book's cover. if anything theyre religious extremists (ones with relations to other bad stuff) that parade as a "grassroots feminist organization."

My dumbass thought it passed in early may my bad.
Might just check out furbooru, not a big fan of r34 tbh
The term you're looking for is astroturfing. They're almost inevitably paid for by some huge PAC or the like.
