Xbox is a consolw and brand owned by Microsoft, which is a brand and company. Brands are separate from what they represent- See the two un-numbered Rocky movies under the Rocky franchise/brand for one great example.

I want to know what do you think of why the full name of consoles are Microsoft Xbox, Sony PS3, Nintendo Wii U, etc.? What's you're opinion on that?

http://www.xbox.com/en-ca/xbox-360/why-xbox-360?xr=shellnav Where does it brand it as 'Microsoft Xbox 360', anywhere? It doesn't, only as Xbox 360- the brand name of which is owned by Microsoft.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox "The Xbox is a video gaming brand created by Microsoft."
Google Inc. owns Google (the brand name) that has been rated the most influential brand of the United States. https://www.ipsos-na.com/news-polls/pressrelease.aspx?id=6034
The definition of a brand is that of, "the name, term, design, symbol, or any other feature that identifies one seller's product distinct from those of other sellers." The penultimate brand known around the world today, young and old, would either bee Google owned by Google Inc., or it would be Coca Cola, owned by the Coca Cola Company.
The branding of the Xbox consoles with the Xbox brand differentiates them from Microsoft's Windows brand operating system. Internet Explorer is the brand for their browser- and used to be branded as Microsoft Internet Explorer and Windows Internet Explorer in the past. Band-Aid, even though it's commonly used for any form of adhesive bandage, is an actual brand name owned by Johnson and Johnson.
Now, to more directly answer your question: They are NOT named Microsoft Xbox, Sony PS3, Nintendo Wii U, etc. but rather are listed sometimes by the company name first as a form of further advertisment for the companies that own the brands- which helps people remember that it is Microsoft that owns the Xbox brand, rather than that it's "The Xbox company". You can look at where people aren't reminded of the origins of a song that Glee covers, and then hear the song by the original artist and decry it as being a cover of the song that Glee created, for an extremely annoying example.

Thank you for answering my question. We should treat companies that own brands just like a character owner owns a character. For example, some character tags have "charactername_(owner)" or "character" and "character_owner" (as a copyright tag) tagged together. This should be the same with brands and companies. We tag "xbox" and "microsoft" together because, as you said, Microsoft owns Xbox

quick answers on why Mycrosoft should get implicated on X-Box: WHOIS
All contact for the official X-Box Site is: Microsoft Corporation.
Choosing the support site you get the option to chat with the Microsoft Developers.
The Impressum on Xbox.com sais: Microsoft Corporation.
Also: Streetfighter is Konami (and it is done this way!)
More interesting: Wizards of the Coast owns Dungeons and Dragons as well as Magic the Gathering, but those two are not implicating Wizards

Exactly; this is what I have been arguing :) Also, to further cement the branding labelling, http://advertising.microsoft.com/en-ca/brands

Xbox would practically be the only tag this would be tied to, which makes it pointless, like Hasbro.
