The tag alias #74468 hand_pads -> hand_pawpads has been rejected.

Reason: I believe these mean the same thing and think an alias could unify the tagging

Both should be aliased to pawpads, much like foot_pads ( foot_pawpads should also be aliased, but there aren't any posts with the tag right now)

should it really alias to fingerpads though? what if it's just the middle pawpad and the fingerpads aren't visible?

Why not have fingerpads implicate handpads and then handpads implicate pawpads?

I’m also wondering if one of these tags should imply humanoid_hands. Can you really have fingerpads on non-humanoid hands? The only non-humanoid hands I can think of are handpaws and hoof_hands, the former of which probably shouldn’t get these tags since pawpads are already the default on paws of any kind, and for the latter it’s simply not applicable. Though the handpaw wiki mentions fingerpads, and a lot of those posts are probably already tagged that way as a result…
