Topic: Mawmain Vanny post removal

post #5188870 - Reason: Irrelevant to site (Human only)

There are multiple posts (Some dating as far back as 2021) that do the same concept of the costume being ripped or exposed to show the human underneath in some way without any other species present (see post #5143663 post #4559448 and post #3092110 So are all solo Vanny posts showcasing bare humanoid skin against site rules? Or does this extend as far as to any solo vanny post that isn't clearly anthrofied? Does the focus of the piece matter considering people are attracted to the animal costume itself removed from the species wearing it, or is the fact that only the living species human is present in the picture enough? Where do we draw the line?

Vanny is a mess. By all rights, solo posts of her shouldn't be allowed since she's a human in a suit. But there are images of her that make her look more like an anthro or humanoid rabbit creature, which is allowed. Some posts depict her in a way where it doesn't look like a suit. The line is very thin, and different moderators will have different opinions on when the line is crossed. Vanny is one of those 'post at your own risk' kind of deals. A human in a fursuit, as Vanny is, is irrelevant to the site, but a non-human rabbit-like humanoid/anthro creature, as she is sometimes depicted, is relevant to the site. And as each image is judged on its own merits, there's no telling how a given picture of her will be interpreted.

If more deletions are what you want then more deletions are what you'll get, approvers are not infallible and can miss things
Generally if the suit is ripped to expose a human body and the head is not extra animated (to suggest an animal head), the post will be deleted for being human only

That makes sense, yeah.

The only thing I wanted was to hear others opinions on the subject, and hopefully gain some clarity. If the moderation team feels the other posts I mentioned here are also irrelevant to this site and should be removed, then by all means.
