I've had the idea to alias wrappings to wraps a few days ago. I was considering going through with it today, but I didn't want to try requesting the alias before I'd end up being told that there's not a reason or not enough reason to do so and have it be rejected. I originally thought that the wrappings tag should be aliased since it looked similar enough, but I saw some examples of the gift/christmas wrap being used as well as the usual cloth that would be referred to as wraps. Do I just leave things as they are?

i have a bur set up for an alias to wraps here topic #46679. though wrappings being used for something other than the clothing is something to think on whether it should be aliased. it might need to have a disambiguation approach instead. seems like the few examples not referring to wraps are instead ribbons. they could be used like wraps, but that's not how they are being used most of the time.
