Reason: Part 2: some implications to go along with all the [gender]_penetrating_[gender] ones we already have.

It's actually weird how little use any of these tags have gotten.

I'm not sure we want to elevate tentacles to a sort of gender/form esque tag

ehhh... this is a weird one since we don't consider "loose" tentacles to be characters so, we don't really have a good way to tag these situations, but still, I'd tend to agree.

Still best to avoid more x_penetrating_y tags than the ones we already have IMO, and leave it to tentacle_penetrating + y_penetrated.

Feel free to propose a competing BUR that dumps all of them into invalid territory then. Because whatever we do, we can't just leave them as is; they're liable to multiply.

I would say to avoid using tentacle_penetrating as well since it could easily be misinterpreted as another accepted form of the *_penetrating tags.
Best to stick with/alias it to tentacle_penetration, akin to penile_penetration.

tentacle_penetration is too ambiguous for my liking, referring to either the tentacle penetrating or the tentacle being penetrated. vaginal_penetration is the vagina being penetrated, anal_penetration is the anus being penetrated, cloacal_penetration is the cloaca being penetrated, so one would then assume penile_penetration is the penis being penetrated (i.e. urethral_penetration) and tentacle_penetration is the tentacle being penetrated, but they're not, created disparity between the various *_penetration tags and potential confusion.

How could this be solved, have all the *_penetration be renamed *_penetrating or *_penetrated? (and tangentially, what about *_rape? have it become *_raped or *_raping?)
