Topic: I made a mistake for commissioning someone

I commissioned Raccoon Sama a drawing of Lottie giving Digby head, and i told him to keep me anonymous to keep myself safe on social media. However, i was never satisfied with the results, when he showed me the colored, i asked for cum, later i requested to change the aspect ratio, then he uploaded the latter one, but then i wanted the latter one without cum, however, Raccoon said no, because it was getting excessive. That made me feel underwhelmed.
Raccoon, i'm sorry for doing this, i was too picky with how i wanted the commission to be, and honestly, i wasn't satisfied with the final results at all.
I hope i can ask for things better next time.

Edit: Sorry for uploading it here, i didn't know where to post this

...I can't really wrap my head around why this is here. This sounds the kind of thing you should be talking with that artist about, rather than publishing on public forum for random third parties to see.

Sorry, i was trying to express myself, and i don't want them to feel bad

e621 is not the most adequate place for this kind of post. I suggest writing in FA or IB instead.

Hey, remember me? I changed my username as you suggested

If you want to remain incognito it would be a good idea not to bump threads that still have your old display name.

Understood

Also, i wish e621 updated former usernames to the newer ones on threads

If someone has a ton of forum posts that's gonna put some strain on the servers (and maybe bump a ton of threads?)

Plus usernames are just plain text, so find an replace might inflict some collateral damage, or not catch everything

I think you can ask nmny to redact every mention of your name though.

hmm... actually I wonder if it'd be reasonable to have DText thing that replaces a string (like uname #32974) with the user's current name and the rank style and stuff. kinda like replacing thumb #6268 with a thumbnail except for users.

Update he blocked me and i'm upset he did, i just want to apologize to him for requesting edits

I can understand being upset. Sometimes someone stops wanting to interact anymore, and you have to respect their wishes. It can be hard and it does not always feel good, but respecting their boundaries is the right thing to do.

The only thing you can do after that, is to learn from this experience. Look at what happened, what was said, what the reactions were, etc. Then decide what worked better or what worked worse. And then make decisions of how to interact more respectfully and successfully with new people in the future. Because that artist is done interacting with you. But there will always be new artists. And if you can learn how to interact in better ways, then the future people you interact with will hopefully be more successful.

But these are really the only two things you can do now: 1, respect their wishes to no longer interact with them, and 2, to learn from this experience so you can have more successful interactions with new people in the future.

The thing is that i wanted to commission him more artwork, and i even had something planned.
Also, Raccoon was my cheapest option i had, and i even considered him as a friend. i wish he could forgive me
