Topic: What should I do if I make a new tag for a character but misspell it

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

If the character tag only has a few entries, you can just remove the misspelled tag and add the correctly spelled tag.

So if your character's name was "caleb" but you misspelled it "caled" you would just remove caled and add caleb.

caleb -caled

Then change the tag's category to character by hitting the "?" next to the tag's name on the post.

You get sent to the Shadow Realm.
... just replace the tag with a correct one, it'll be fine.

Well at least it wasn't the Phantom Zone.

If you have a ton of the same incorrectly-spelled tag, just ask in the tagging projects forum and someone can either show you how to make an bulk update request, or do it manually with tag scripting if it's not too many (like say, 50).

This type of situation is easy to solve with tagme.dev
I've already used it for that.
