I'm fairly sure his official name is Rambley the Raccoon, not raccoon as a surname.
Though there's a bit of conflicting info. I believe through the game, 'the Raccoon' is used, but there's this character sheet from the dev that says Rambley Raccoon.
Might just be best to use the original tag, imo

Yeah, that sheet is the main reason for 'the' being missing. If some other users weigh in agreeing with you, I'll add 'the' in. I'm not biased against either name.
