Topic: [REJECTED] Tag alias: milestone_celebration -> kiriban

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The tag alias #69273 milestone_celebration -> kiriban has been rejected.

Reason: These tags mean the same thing.

My only hesitance is that I know a lot of people aren't fond of Japanese tag names, but kiriban is an established term for this type of artwork in online art communities so I feel it's appropriate. If others disagree, I don't mind reversing the alias though. Either way they should be aliased together, regardless of which one is used.

EDIT: The tag alias milestone_celebration -> kiriban (forum #399834) has been rejected by @Nimphia.

Do we need either of these tags? They seem rather irrelevant to the content of the post, like a congratulations or thank you to someone, which we don't tag. If not invalidated, I'd at least prefer it reversed to avoid confusion that some people may have over what the word is.

Personally I think it should be the other way around. I haven't seen 'kiriban' used much since like. 2013
