Gradually less and less Webms have been playing. When I click on one now they almost never actually play and just freeze. I can still skip around the video but it doesn't play?? Started happening like 3 weeks ago and now videos barely even load at all. I tried reloading, turning off adblock, and opening new pages. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't, and now even that isn't working.

I checked the last 3 webms you added to your favorites and they all loaded fine on 2 different browsers.

What kind of browser are you using?

same problem. Randomly plays, but freezing after few minutes

can you guys link examples everything works for me on a tablet

maybe your internet is bad

are you trying to view them on an iphone? this happens a lot for me, some WebM videos will play while others won't.

i use a tablet, adjusting to a smaller resolution (720 or less) works for me. don't use the download button thats full resolution and just buffers even after replay

it's just the WebM file that's the problem, Safari doesn't support it normally and it only works sometimes otherwise, without another app at least. playing it through VLC makes it work, but then that runs across storage problems...

that sounds like you save the videos and replaying them in your gallery doesn't work, i also had the problem but again i saved them at a lower resolution and they can play in galleries

no. it's just "press play button, video screen but with no interface and it's not playing". shows that whole --:-- and can only be closed out, and even if it does play it initially shows a blank screen with audio, thus needing to be closed and reopened. it's iphone that's the problem, and it's especially bad with WebM files; YouTube plays normally, VLC played normally, videos i've saved were both capable of being saved (WebM saves as a file, not as a video) and plays perfectly fine... even when WebM gets linked on Discord, it plays as a video and can be saved as normal due to whatever format Discord uses for previews.

well thats the extent of my knowledge that and webms that were recently uploaded take longer to play (because they are still uploading) but coming back to them after an hour or so they play fine.

Ah, so poor Safari support. Using the other apps on a downloaded file works on the iPhone?

Note: Probably most iOS users know this, but ALL browsers on there are Safari with a shiny wrapper.

Happens to me with most webms, been an issue for years. Use linux w firefox. Setting the size of the video to 720p works every time.
