Uhm, isn't it possible to have pubic markings not at the crotch? Like, right below the belly button but not below the pubic bone?
Isn't a toe_(marking) a toe-shaped marking and toe_markings when you have markings ON a toe? Yeah, this is probably why you made this alias. The first one makes no sense but I'll have to check if that is how it was actually used. It seems that toe_(marking) was actually toeless_(marking) like the same place as toeless socks but a marking. There are no remaining examples to alias.

Ah, I looked it up because I was sort of sure. Crotch means between the legs and including the genitals/groin. Supposedly named for the intersection of two rivers. Pubic mound is ABOVE, right?

While looking at pubic_markings, I saw post #4134059 which seems like it's not actually the pubes, but like a womb tattoo. Belly marking since it's at the navel? Given the artist, this actually makes some sense.

Already replaced tongue_marking with tongue_markings to be consistent with the other markings tags.

All results for facials_markings look to be mouths with unusual placement. i.e. on the belly
