Topic: how should I tag this post? [W:decapitation, dismemberment, etc.]

Posted under General

okay, so this post:

WARNING: DECAPITATION, DISMEMBERMENT, BUTCHERED ANTHROS, etc.

I'm like super conflicted on if it should be tagged with snuff + death or not, because this has a lot of the hallmarks of snuff fetish stuff, and reasonably, both of those characters should be super dead... but like, to me, neither of them do seem to be?

they're both still blushing and they both seem to be having orgasm spasms (or something) both of which corpses don't tend to do, especially seeing as Spinel had been without body long enough to have been fully butchered, and then put on display for sale and the shadow lugia character seems to have been there long enough to have the meat expire, so those aren't just residual blush that has yet to fade or the twitching a body might do shortly after death. those are two decapitated characters that are somehow still alive.

but, also... for blacklisting purposes maybe those tags should still be applied? but doing that feels wrong to me...

so, I think I just need some second opinions on this.

Oooooooo, the zombie exception! Rarely have this one come up. Yeah, point of tags like that is to hit the blacklist trigger. Might want to at least look for related tags. Grotesque I believe is? Definitely add tags for the specific forms of dismemberment and decapitation and blood and so on. I don't remember exactly when but pretty sure this came up before with the snuff tag.

I mean, "zombie" would kinda imply that they were dead at some point and then made undead, this is more like that thing that happenes in old GoldSrc games where a character has to finish their scripted sequence before they realize they're dead except with unstoppable_orgasm.

the snuff tag itself does not currently impliy death although there has been very little discussion on the subject in the past, the only thing I can really find is this single forum reply to a BUR that once had the implication on it, although the argument put forth would seem to agree that snuff should apply to situations where the character is not yet dead but will be, which like, is kinda the situation of this post? yeah, I think it'd make sense to add snuff to the post and leave death off.

I think my main problem here is that I'm both kinda numb to extreme violence committed against cartoon animals (being on FluffyBooru during the height of the community is probably partially to blame for that), but I'm not really exited by it in any way, either. so I'm stuck in the middle of not exactly knowing what people would want hidden by blacklist and simultaneously not knowing what people would want to see when searching.

Personally I don't see anything in that image that directly implies the character is still alive, so you might as well just tag death and be done with it. In other cases I might have suggested detachable_head and the rest of the detachable hierarchy.
