Reason: Suggesting creating a HAL Laboratory tag to parent the properties of HAL Laboratory, Inc. (AKA "HAL Lab" or "HALKEN") to. This includes: the Kirby (1992–) and EarthBound (1989–2006) series, the original Pokémon Snap (1999) and Pokémon Ranger (2006) spinoffs, and a few other original titles.

I've haven't included Super Smash Bros. (1999–) series in this request because HAL only developed the first three game. The forums can argue whether to imply it or not once this BUR gets approved (if it does). "Cross that bridge when we get to it."

Also preemptively creating a requesting an implication through the tag for HAL's mascot, Inutamago ("Dog Eggs"). and implying it. If she were to be tagged solo, she wouldn't fall under any of the already existing copyright tags.

Only the first Pokemon Snap was developed by HAL Laboratory, the second was developed by Bandai Namco. Also, picross is another term for nonogram (and in the realm of video games, a number of Picross titles have been made by different developers).

is Picross even a HAL thing? I thought that was a Nintendo brand.

hal labs has only made the picross 3d series, the rest were done almost exclusivly by jupiter, since at least 1995's mario's picross and up to today with the picross s series

either way, is picross a copywriten title? i just though that's what the genre of puzzle was called generically until looking up the devs of the nintendo picross games lead me to the name "nonogram", and taking a glance at nintendo's store page for one of the picross s titles just gives me a trademark for "Jupiter Picross" and not plane jane, no nonsence, picross:

so i think picross as it is now should just be aliased to nonogram and switched to a general tag instead of a trademark

Copyright tags definitely should only imply the entity that definitively owns them, not every individual studio that's ever touched the franchise
