the one strong opinion i have about nipple piercings: if your character has abdominal nipples and those aren't pierced along side the breast nipples, your character is a coward

I like them in general, they have a certain BDSM feeling to them, which every now and then I like seeing, but I also have this innate fear that it could get stuck on something and rip your nipple off.

I would never get one however, or any kind of piercing for that matter.

I just like them for the looks. It's why I add them on one of my fav characters whenever I commission art of her

Not a fan. Not a fan of prominent nipples generally, really. Don't get me wrong, I love tits even more than most, but nipples? Those should be subtle.

Very hot on females, males, femboys, gynomorphs, or any other sex. Especially hot with thick gold rings.
Good in Both SFW and NSFW situations

They look good in an NSFW way, and they make things kinda NSFW so long as they're being worn.

I think they are hot. I generally like goth/emo/alternative aesthetics and piercings are a part of that.
I probably wouldn't get one myself though, mostly because I can't see it being attractive on me. Maybe I'd get a lip piercing in the future but I have some other things to take care of before that can happen.

I like them on both males and female though same with my sexual attraction, the male would have to be pretty feminine for me to be attracted to him.

Nipple piercings feel like a purely nsfw thing to me. Kinda on the level of lingerie. I guess if a man on the beach had one I wouldn't see it as something overly sexual but in general it's pretty hard for me to imagine them as something sfw.

You're like the opposite of me lol. I like tits but the size isn't important, often I even find myself preferring smaller ones but it's mostly about the nipples.
Don't like it when they are very oversized though.

Not a fan of nipple piercings. I can't stop thinking of those ring-shaped ones where someone could put there finger through it and rip it out like a grenade pin.

Don't like them. Holds back a picture's potential.

Yes to all kinds of piercings, including nipple piercings, of course.
I like simple barbell piercings, and exotic piercings like nipple shields, especially on feminine characters.
And rings, stirrup, and C shaped piercings on masculine characters.
Also, chains on piercings look very nice.
Furthermore, piercings give interesting opportunities in BDSM scenarios.

Not fond of perky/erect nipples or piercings of them, but I can tolerate them.

They're fine, great even if they're drawn well enough, but I really just prefer tits in their purest form.

I had nipple rings. They don't work with an active lifestyle. Got ripped out five times lifting weights and whatnot before I finally just gave up. Also they notably limit movement on occasion and ability to do things such as lay on your chest. Life isn't drawn porn, as always, is also worth mentioning. Even as someone with a strong chest (and therefore larger than average nipples) you can't really flick the ring around or play with it much, since after all there's really not much flesh there that it's piercing into. You'll always see art with big chains or weights or whatever nonsense attached to chest piercings, and that's just absurd.

Studs are less of a nuisance in that they won't get ripped out as easily. Still very uncomfortable doing exercise or lying flat with them. If I ever consider getting my nipples and sack repierced I'm definitely sticking with studs on the nipples this time around.

The reality of it is: they look cool, they get in the way, they get torn out. And you can't take them out for even a short while as unlike any other area of the body nipples are 100% regenerative tissue that do not scar, so the hole will try to close almost immediately.

Aesthetically I think they look good on guys and ugly on women. I don't like femboys so I can't answer that question with an unbiased view either way.

can you describe studs or link to any references to them? i'm trying to google "nipple studs" and the most relevant thing i'm turning up are some weird stretched nipple piercings (edit: unless you're talking about barbells, i've never heard them called studs before if that is what you meant lol)

yeah barbell is what i meant, sorry for the confusion. funny i had them at one point and didn't even know the right name for them

They're piercings, so they're bad to begin with imo. They seem to be in a particularly painful and inelegant spot. Not a fan

I'm not a fan, but don't necessarily hate minor piercings.

I like them a lot, though I've never been with a girl that had any, so can't quite comment on how it is to play with those.
In art, I always find they make things lewder but also find them generally aesthetically pleasant on females, given good artistic execution. Don't really care about others.
In reality, mine didn't hurt much but sure took their sweet time healing fully and that was rather annoying. There's a wide variety of info on how long that's supposed to take because the definition of done seems to vary a bit. It takes considerably longer till they can be comfortably played with than till they stop being sore.
Once healed they are definitely fun to play with, gently. That latter part is important. Rings are more fun, but also take some getting used to and can indeed be awkward in some situations, though I've found that to get better with time. I'd not recommend any attachments outside playing with them, it gets uncomfortable quickly and I'd not want to try what happens when a chain gets caught somewhere.
I've also found it a bit harder than thought to keep them from showing under a shirt, so better keep that in mind if any of you think about getting some.
Still, I like 'em.

Those are the exact piercings I want on my body. Nips, belly, and ears. If she had her eyebrow and ear"lobe" pierced too, she'd have exacly my piercings.

On that note, I like nipple piercings on femboys, tomboys, butch, goths, grunge boys/girls, and much much more. I find it to be very appealing
I'll get them soon too.

I hate 'em. Not to the point that it's on my blacklist but it definitely knocks points off a picture's hotness

I FUCKING LOVE IT it opens so many opportunities for nipple play esp if it's a ring piercing

If people have/like them it is their choice, do what you like.

For me personally i have a simple rule: No piercings anywhere ever.

they can make a character look even hotter.
especially love them on big hyper tits
though I don't plan on getting any piercings myself (since I can't tolerate pain well)

i like the barbell ones, not so much on the rings. piercings getting ripped out or caught on something is a primal fear of mine, which is why i'll never get one. piercings are cute when minimalistic, i think septum piercings are ugly though.

Nipple piercings seem to look fine on strong women and tend to look off to me if only on one nipple or a dude.

Piercings anywhere besides the ears freak me out. They just make feel so uncomfortable. (Though some earrings make me uncomfortable too, like those stretchy ring ones.)

I personally don't like the, mainly because I don't like imagining the holes that the needles and bars would leave and I don't see how it could be fun piercing metal through nipples which are two of the most sensitive parts of the body. Plus I just don't like how they look.
