Topic: Tag Alias: aged_up -> older

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

Ah, I've had that one on my back burner for a while, even started tagging both at once for some reason. Yeah, that's exactly what I was going to suggest too, older seems rather vague and ambiguous compared to the very clear aged_up. Like it could be used for describing elderly people in general or something.

Older -> aged_up would definitely be my choice.

Also, updated the wiki for both, aged_up didn't have one at all and the other one was pretty barebones.

I would have assumed it was a duplicate to age_difference,

Valid one too, I could see someone using younger and older on a post instead of age_difference.

In fact, that seems to be exactly what at least one user has done. (There's also an age_difference tag on this but it was added later on)

Yup, that leaves no doubt in my mind that it's just too ambiguous without consulting the wiki. "Older" can mean a ton of things. By the way, just for consistency's sake we should probably alias younger to aged_down as well.

Very good points made. Flipped it before approving it as aliasing older to --> aged_up. Also added the suggested counterpart of aliasing younger to --> aged_down. I think the use of both tags should be a whole lot clearer this way.
