This BUR is VERY alpha, and may be wrong. However, I would like to discuss the following:

I would also like to hear opinions on the usage of latex_transformation:
- Is latex_transformation to broad/specific? latex_bodysuit and latex_skinsuit exist.
- Should latex_transformation be related to goo_transformation?
- Should latex_transformation imply

My opinion: latex_transformation is too broad. It is used for latex suiting, latex goo transformation, and more. Sorting latex_transformation into different subtypes makes sense to me.

I think we still need to deal with latex* vs rubber* as well

I am gonna oppose just for "create alias latex_goo (20) -> goo_(disambiguation) (198)"

Once the posts are moved to goo_(disambiguation), one of two things will happen: the posts will end up becoming tagged as living_latex or slime, the latter of which is borked.

Normally, I wouldn't complain because clearly this tag has multiple meanings and tags with multiple meanings are usually invalidated, but slime is an atrocious catch-all tag which is impossible to search properly. This is a melting pot already, and this bur is only going to make it worse. At this point in time, it would be better honestly to enforce latex_goo as just the goo left behind by living_latex creatures to make it unique in purpose.

If you remove just that single line I'm swapping it with an upvote because there are no problem with the other lines.

We shot down this topic over in the Latex BUR for the change of living_latex to a species_tag. (The two implications are fine) There is already latex_creature as a species tag and we wanted to keep living_latex as a general tag.

Here is a copy from my take on the difference living_latex/latex_creature in the Latex BUR:
living_latex should remain its own thing. I like to imagine the difference between latex_creature and living_latex like the difference between tentacle_creature and tentacles. The _creature tag requires a body to be visible, while tentacles only need to show the extremities. Living latex can show movement on its own without having a real body. Maybe a puddle of liquid latex moves on its own, a larger ball of latex encasing a victim or straight up a tentacle out of liquid latex being featured. The last part in particular reminded me of the tentacle_creature/tentacles difference, so we can apply this logic here as well.

Another good comparison is the implication from robot to machine. The former a species tag, the latter a general one.

Funnily enough, That post had this alias "create alias latex_goo (3) -> liquid_latex (1395)" which was comparatively better than the one here.

I reckon we're done here, the latex tags will no more be a problem for anybody.

Caused by latex I would say. Transformations into a latex_creature are usually tagged latex_transformation in combination with something like inflatable_transformation, assimilation, dronification or simply species_transformation to indicate what they transform into.
Occasional mistagging when just encasement is involved, but no real transformation.
