Apparently it doesn't let me create the line imply licking -> tongue even after the line unimply licking -> tongue_out.

Error: Error: licking already implies tongue through another implication (create implication licking -> tongue)

So I guess we need to imply it only after the unimply is made.

Yeah, any request with swapping around implications/aliases needs to be done in 2 parts.

What are you trying to accomplish here? Licking implies tongue_out which implies tongue, it works as intended. This implication is unnecessary unless licking shouldn't be implied to tongue_out in the first place, but you have provided no argument against that.
