Reason: I mean, it does seem self-explanatory, the wiki text for circumcised literally mentions that a foreskin is a thing that covers the glans.
A character whose penis appears to be circumcised, where the foreskin covering the glans of the penis has been surgically removed or is otherwise not present.
However... the Wiki text for foreskin also specifies that:
Humanoid
Foreskin (also known as prepuce) is a loose fold of skin that covers the glans of a penis; it is a continuation of loose skin that covers the entire penis and scrotum (which is part of the balls).Non-Humanoid
The foreskin tag is usually used for humanoid penises. Not to be confused with the tag sheath, as it is used for animal genitalia. For foreskins found on non-humanoid penises, consider the hybrid penis tag.
Frankly I don't think the definition beyond ";" is quite correct as it somewhat hints at extra skin on the entire shaft, and no anatomical diagram will call stuff behind the glans foreskin, the etymology has the word 'Fore' which is "situated or placed in front", clearly hinting at the tip (or, covering the glans, if you prefer that).
Because of the Non-Humanoid specification we run into the issue of the purpose of foreskins on hybrids and whether they would always have glans before we can freely just imply it.
Just to be clear wiki defines glans as:
The acorn-shaped bulb at the end of the primate penis, where the urethral opening is. A staple for humanoid penises, but some hybrids and penis tentacles may also have glans.
I will say that I never saw it as "Acorn-shaped" exactly, but the appearance is rather...unique. The issue with the glans definition is that it states that not ALL hybrids may have glans, while the foreskin definition states that Non-Humanoid genitalia (more specifically Hybrids) may have a foreskin. Honestly it's fair to assume that Hybrids that got a foreskin got glans but not vice versa (which is fine as the implication is for foreskin stuff > glans).
I don't think I need to link it, but a quick Google search for the word Foreskin brings up that it's defined universally as:
The skin that covers the head of the penis.
While that works exclusively for humans as we're looking at real-life definitions, it is not uncommon to come across a particular wording:
is a movable sheath of skin that covers the head of the penis.
So looking for the wording sheath, one can find the Wikipedia article for Penile Sheath
although in non-human cases the foreskin is usually a sheath into which the whole penis is retracted.
So the bit "Not to be confused with the tag sheath" on the Non-Humanoid foreskin specification doesn't seem to be particularly correct, however, tagging stuff with sheath one expects to find animal genitalia which definitely feels like the intended differentiation, which comes in all shapes and forms, the issue here becomes hybrid penis as there could be a case scenario where there's some sort of foreskin but no glans as known present, which by definition (of the whole tip thing) would then be a sheath and not a foreskin. This is completely overlooking Tapering Penis, which as the wiki puts it:
it may or may not feature a distinct glans and/or foreskin.
Again, the ambiguity of "and/or", but I'm yet to see a post like this (tapers with foreskins all seems to turn into an "Acorn-shaped" tip, which warrants the glans tag, I guess the only exception is whatever this is post #1705924).
So let's take a closer look at Hybrids,
Going by the examples given on the Hybrid Penis wiki:
A hybrid penis can have the head (the glans) of a humanoid penis and with a knot of a canine penis. This is known as a knotted humanoid penis.
A hybrid penis can have the head of a humanoid penis and with a medial ring of an equine penis. This is known as a medial ringed humanoid penis.
A hybrid penis can have the head of an equine penis, the knotted base of a canine penis, and usually a medial ring. This is known as a knotted equine penis.
A hybrid penis can have the barbs of a feline penis and the knot of a canine penis. This is known as a barbed canine penis.
A hybrid penis can have the head of a humanoid penis and have the barbs of a feline penis. This is known as a barbed humanoid penis.
A hybrid penis can have the head of a humanoid penis, a medial ring of an equine penis, and a knot of a canine penis.
I don't wanna go linking a bunch of penis definitions on this already long post, but for the ones that do mention having "the head of a humanoid penis" the first example clears it as a glans, while it may or may not have a foreskin, the wiki for circumcised does state the following:
has been surgically removed or is otherwise not present.
So in my opinion, the circumcised -> glans implication is well justified.
Furthermore, as far as I'm aware, no Hybrid has "the body of a humanoid penis", a foreskin being something that kinda extends out of the shaft...
To kinda just throw a catch-all and justify the other ones, a circumcised penis is defined as one that lacks a foreskin, which is something that covers the glans, so if you are to retract it in any way, you would be... exposing the glans, so I believe the other 3 implications (albeit Half Retracted Foreskin stands unused to this day), are justified as well.
post #1566211 is the only one that got a tag combination that got me to doubt my implication suggestion, as it has what is defined as a foreskin, while also lacking a proper glans as it goes the equine route, however it also has the Unusual Penis tag and the description does say it was more of a design challenge, it being the only one that got me to doubt it I am willing to throw it into the exception bucket.
Now the tag that I am unsure about and I am suggesting to be aliased: exposed_glans
It lacks a wiki page and alludes to the event where glans are fully uncovered, because we already have a glans tag, issue is that it doesn't accomplish anything new that isn't already achieved by either circumcised or retracted foreskin, so it seems pointless to exist on it's own. At the same time, some posts that got it don't really featured either circumcised penises or retracted foreskins, and the tag was added at upload, so it's fair to think that the uploader just tagged it because the glans were visible, hence why it should be aliased.
Edit to add bur to title.
