Reason: those are sub-types.
the worgen might look more similar and the tauren might keep their horns while in cat form, but the night elves most certainly keep no identifiable aspect of their former body when they shapeshift. none of these implications should be made for the sake of searchability, and since night_elf implies elf, which implies the humanoid body type tag.
