The tag implication #50479 finger_ring -> digit_ring has been approved.

Reason: These two would have the same meaning and be aliased... if not for the existence of toe_ring, which already implies digit_ring.
This makes digit_ring an umbrella term for finger_ring and toe_ring and therefore should act as such.

Additionally, wedding_ring and engagement_ring should probably switch to implicate finger_ring rather than digit_ring with this change.

Have you considered the possibility that those rings could be worn on the toes instead of the fingers, such as the case of feral characters?

Have you considered that not all rings are worn on the digits? There are horn rings, tail rings, etc.
