There is a dispute between me and a (name redacted) user regarding the Moushley_Graham tag. The other user thinks it should just be Moushley and I believe it should be Moushley_Graham, because Ashley Graham is addressed on this site by her first and last name, so why not Moushley as well?

the issue here is you're removing and altering a currently-disputed tag. see topic #37870, there's currently an alias request for moushley -> ashley_graham because under normal circumstances, e6 doesn't create new character tags for alterations of characters. we don't go around tagging fox_link on posts where link is depicted as a fox, those get tagged wolf_link and alternate_species instead.

so, instead of creating a new tag for the furrification of ashley graham, go over to the topic and provide your stance on the matter. if e6 decides to keep moushley, then a discussion over whether it should be moushley or moushley graham can occur... until then, it's just adding another tag to muddy up searches.

i suggest you check out my bur request, which has a lot of debate from people who don't even think moushley or moushley_graham should be distinct from vanilla ashley graham

Ok, I'll leave the Moushley tags alone, and as a courtesy will revert Moushley_Graham back to Moushley if it hasn't been done already. For further clarification, I lost access to this one thread that explained the validity of when an alternate character tag is legal, so I'll ask it here:

Is it true that a character such as Lucifer from Helltaker can have the tag Goat_Lucifer for her goat form replace Lucifer_(Helltaker), because the goat form of Lucifer was created by the creator of Helltaker, on his Twitter account, where he has verified that all Helltaker comics made by him on his Twitter are canon? This implies that Lucifer's goat form is just as canon as Link's wolf form, and needs its own tag, correct?

yes, the general rule of thumb is canon alternate forms of a character can get their own character tag, and not get tagged their base character tag. goat_lucifer_(helltaker) doesn't get tagged lucifer_(helltaker), link_(wolf_form) doesn't get tagged link, and et cetera. if moushley goes through and stays as a character tag, we wouldn't tag her with the ashley_graham tag. if it does not or if it gets changed to something else, we'll tag these depictions as ashley graham instead.

Did you just report yourself mass updating tags without anyone's consent? This was a problem that was brought up here because of you.

Next time, ask on the forums before doing something like this, this would help avoid problems with BURs and requests.

I am reverting my mass updated tags at the present moment.

Moushley_Graham no longer exists, all posts have been reverted to the old tags.
