The bulk update request #4255 is active.

create alias fudge_(fudgepop01) (0) -> fudge_(fudgepop691) (9)

Reason: fudgepop01 is my main account and my username in sfw spaces, but fudgepop691 is my AD account and username in some nsfw spaces (such as twitter).
I would like this change to be made to prevent someone searching for "fudgepop01" and accidentally finding various nsfw images. Thank you!

When this change is made I can go through and find other posts featuring my sona and label them correctly

Why mass update if you're going to alias?

They do the same thing except update does it once while alias does it all the time. (You can also edit a BUR.)

This is my first time submitting a BUR and I wasn't sure if it did that automatically, so I added the mass update JUST in-case it didn't.

Bumping this to ask - Uhh... how does one actually go through and execute this BUR? I have other content I'd love to share here but don't feel comfortable doing so while my main account is still linked to the character :o

One is patient and hopes the admins get to it eventually.

I might point out that there are currently only five posts tagged with "fudgepop01", which you could change by hand in a couple of minutes if that's the only thing stopping you from uploading more pics.

You just have to wait until an Admin gets to it. "When will that be?" you will probably ask. They get to it when they get to it, be it a few hours or a few months. After all, we do still have outstanding requests going back years, and a limited number of Admins who need to summon up the energy to look them over.

Ah, sorry! I didn't mean to come off as someone who was looking to rush the admins! I generally know that admins/moderators/janitors and other elevated users on forums are working on their own time to make stuff nicer for folks and fulfill requests, and I appreciate it ^^

I just wasn't sure if there was a system in place that went through and auto-approved/queued BURs like this. I didn't recall seeing how that process is done on the help page about it, but I could also be misremembering (in which case that's on me to have failed to check).

As for this I wasn't quite sure how the site registered and updated tags, if there was a rate limit for doing so, etc. - so I wasn't sure if "fudgepop01" would still show up as tag suggestions even after the others had been cleared. Hence, the BUR :o

I suggest also making sure that your artist entry in the Wiki explicitely indicates which to use, and when. No wait, this is a character tag, not an artist tag. But yeah, keep that in mind if you want people not to mix spellings/aliases up.
