It would therefore not be out of place for other sheep named Lanolin to pop up. Her tag's going to need the suffix.

Reason: Second attempt with the suffix. I'm not sure if the full franchise name is necessarily and if lanolin_the_sheep_(sonic) would also be acceptable, but it shouldn't be an issue if the tag shows up in search suggestions anyway.

"IDW" is very non-specific, seeing as IDW doesn't just publish the current Sonic comic. Hence why I asked if lanolin_the_sheep_(sonic) would be an acceptable alternative. Maybe it's not relevant, but the IDW comics are also confirmed canon to the franchise as a whole, so the general franchise tag makes much more sense.

From the way this reads, this is just wishful thinking from Ian Flynn.
Anyway, go for lanolin_the_sheep_(sonic) then, nobody will stop you and the tag won't be nearly as long as what you are proposing right now.

Updated the BUR just on the basis that Lanolin's current character tag is the only one with the full (sonic_the_hedgehog) suffix attached, and (sonic) would be more consistent with existing suffixes anyway.
