These probably should be aliased instead. Is there a reason they should be kept as separate tags? sonic_the_hedgehog_(manga) is also pretty generic; which manga? Since manga literally means comic, it could refer to any Sonic comic.

But why? Things like sonic_shuffle aren't. Nearly all of these have unique characters.

As for the manga, I agree, I personally would change it to sonic_the_hedgehog_(shogakukan) since that's the publisher. I can edit the BUR to that?

Honestly, it's all pretty messy about when entries are aliased to a series and when they're left separate. To make it more confusing, some series have some entries aliased away and not others, with no apparent reason (e.g. super_mario_bros_3 is aliased away, but not super_mario_3d_world; super_mario_64 is aliased away, but not super_mario_galaxy; super_mario_sunshine is aliased away, but not super_mario_odyssey). But the rule of thumb I generally go by is if you can look at drawings depicting that entry's setting, and generally identify it as that entry (excluding any characters since they can always appear in other games, or art style since different artists can apply their own style to the drawing), it may be worth keeping a separate tag. As far as I know, I don't think the different Sonic games are all that distinguishable from each other like that, much like Pokemon.

I think sonic_origins and sonic_runners can probably alias instead, but I think the others have enough merit to remain separate, IMO. Sonic Colors introduced the wisps and has a lot of iconic stages, and Frontiers is well, Frontiers. A bulk of what's in it is completely new and only the Cyber Space levels really work like traditional Sonic.

The others aren't games but other franchise stuff. Prime is a cartoon that has a bunch of alternate universes, for example.

I'll update the BUR for the manga, and I'll leave off Origins and Runners for now. Origins should probably alias to Classic Sonic, though.
