I'd say painting_(artwork) as well, but I'm less sure about that because...well ms paint.

I'd say alias paint_(artwork) to painting_(artwork), which is used more, and then imply that to traditional_media_(artwork). I don't see any usage of either of those tags for ms paint, so it shouldn't be much of a problem.

I actually meant to put painting_(artwork), but I suppose that's a convenient accident since that should probably get aliased anyways for convenience.

As an implication, absolutely. Being able to search either for a specific type of traditional media is just as important as searching traditional media in general.
