Reason: Aliases and implications for bone piercings in the ears. Ear piercing would be more accurate than earring. Quite possibly. However, of the 25 current bone piercing tagged posts, only two

look as if they could conceivably have piercings through bone, although in the first case, I don't see where any bones are being pierced. (It took me a little bit to see the eyebrow piercing through bone in the other one.) Otherwise, the pictures have piercings that are shaped like bones (even when they're not made of bone) and appear to be made of bone.
