Nice find. :) Considering that "Kana Rowanbirry" is a unique enough name on its own, you don't need the _(hexteknik) suffix.

If you'd like, you can reject this alias (as we can do that now) and request a BUR, putting 36321, the number of this thread, in the "Forum topic" box at the bottom of the page.

Can't quite get this to work, I've tried

unalias farm_raider_(hexteknik) -> chicken_thief_(hexteknik)
alias farm_raider_(hexteknik) -> kana_rowanberry
alias chicken_thief_(hexteknik) -> kana_rowanberry # duplicate of has blocking transitive relationships, cannot be applied through BUR

but an error pops up saying

Error: Error: Antecedent name has already been taken (create alias farm_raider_(hexteknik) -> kana_rowanberry)

Anyone know what I should do?

Ah. Sorry. When I made my above post, I didn't realize that there was something already aliased to chicken_thief_(hexteknik). :(

As I understand it, this is a problem with BURs. The reason is that there's no guarantee that the BUR will execute its requests in the order they're posted. Therefore, you can't alias farm_raider_(hexteknik) to kana_rowanberry until it's been unaliased from chicken_thief_(hexteknik) first. This would require two BURs, one to unalias farm_raider_(hexteknik) and then one to alias both farm_raider_(hexteknik) and chicken_thief_(hexteknik) to kana_rowanberry.

I think alternatively using a standard old alias request, chicken_thief_(hexteknik) to kana_rowanberry would transfer any implications and aliases on the first tag to the second without the need for unaliasing or unimplying anything. You wouldn't have it attached to a pre-existing thread, so you'd still have to transfer over your reasons.

You know what? Instead of confusing and frustrating you further, I'm going to try and see if what I said is true with another bog standard alias request.
