Topic: tugging_mask? What would a good tag be for trying to remove a latex mask by stretching it?

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

First, sorry for the overly long title. Second, pretty much just the title. I've seen a lot of art around with living latex/living suit takeovers where the wearer is trying to tug at the mask (or other parts of the suit) to remove it, and I'm aware that that, specifically, is a turn on for people. With that in mind, I wanted to create a tag for it but I'm uncertain as to exactly what that tag should be.

Should it be more generalised so as to include tugging at other parts too? I couldn't find any commonly agreed upon tags to this effect. Also surprised that there doesn't seem to be a tag for stretching latex in general, is it all under the 'stretching' tag?

I don't know of any tags for that, but I do see it decently often in images. And if it's a kink/interest to a lot of people, then tagging this makes sense.

I think tugging_mask sounds like a decent way to tag it. Although if it is really about tugging at any part of a latex suit/transformation/coating/etc then maybe something like tugging_latex as a name could also work? Or both?

To be honest, I swear there wasn't as much latex kink (both images and tags for it) five+ years ago. It has really grown in popularity. And sometimes an interest has to get big before someone notices that key parts of the kink don't have a tag yet.

However, this grouping of tags and the latex kink are not really my area of expertise, so take with a grain of salt. As a general observation: I think 'stretching' is already pretty broad in multiple meanings. And so using it as part of the tag name for this would probably get mixed up with any stretched/dripping/strings/chunks etc of latex which is so common with half the latex/goo/sticky types of transformation images. But that's not the same meaning you want it for. So I think 'tugging' is a clearer word for just the action of trying to pull something latex-like off of them. Also 'tugging' still works regardless of exactly how much stretch an artist decides to show the tugging creating too. Making it more versatile for it. So yes, I think that sounds like a decent direction for it.

Just my two cents, pulling_suit works best, with pulling_mask, pulling_latex, and other tags implicating it if you want to get more specific about the details of the suit is being pulled. This way it will work for all kinds of encasement since trying to pull out of plushie suits webs, or other things off of oneself, is a common theme in bondage.
I wish there was an elegant way to have that tag name suggest that the character is wearing or trapped by what they are pulling on. As it is, both tugging_latex and pulling_latex would have a problem with mistags of images where latex is being stretched outside of a fetish scenario.

Added the pulling_suit and pulling_mask tags - I still quite like tugging for the reasons furrypickle described, but these tags didn't exist already so there should be little, if any, mix-up, and pulling feels like it would be a more commonly used term. If this ever becomes a problem I suppose it could be solved with aliases.
Noted on the resisting tag - resisting_living_suit seems a bit unwieldy but just resisting_suit alongside the existing living_suit tag should work just as well. Thanks for the feedback!
