I noticed that living_plushie and plushie-like seem to be different things? I also saw topic #21330 which talks about animate_inanimate.

I think plushie-like is referring a texture style, while living_plushie is characters that supposed to be animated plushies?
I've been tagging plushie-like on galleries where the fur looks like a furry doll ('plushie'), but then I realized those other tags exist. How do we distinguish between them, and do we actually? I was looking at creating Wiki entry pointing out that plushie-like is not the same as plushie(dolls).

like 90% of plushie-like is just Kitsune-yokai's art.
EDIT: looking at edit histories, the main volume of the tag was added by one dude, a banned user called A Username and his ban evade alt.
I'm not sure it's really a necessary tag, it's nearly entirely tagging an artstyle, and an artstyle of one artist at that.

Yeah, I guess... something to keep an eye on. I could have sworn it was more than just that one artist. I suspect it'll just get aliased away soon?

1027385 has seemingly accurate tagging from randomly looking through last few pages. Oh wells, banned now. Not worth thinking about now.

Went further back and yeah, 9 pages, mostly full of "plushie-like" and a few odd instances of removing experiment_(species) on Stitch posts. Well, time to go back to bed.
