Reason: Alias the less-popular plural to the more-popular singular.

Most of the time, these two tags are used the same way - a metal band around some strands of a character's hair.

However, there are a few posts currently using hair_rings to mean something else: where the hair itself is formed into a loop. Example here . These would probably need to be manually changed to something else, perhaps hair_loop. hair_bow probably wouldn't apply in this case, because the wiki seems to say that hair_bow always means a ribbon or something other than the character's own hair.

Also, using 'hair_loop' for that other meaning seems like a reasonable way of describing it. So yeah, that would probably work for the other meaning. It sounds like a decent solution.
